I had been researching a surveillance project for one of our manufacturing facilities and decided (along with the GM of the facility) that about 7 of the AirVision AirCams made by Ubiquiti placed strategically throughout the facility along with the NVR would be a great solution to fit our needs. Based on this thread and my experiences talking with various resellers about the availability of the AirVision equipment (specifically the NVR and AirCams - not the domes or minis), we may not be able to wait until the Ubiquiti AirVision gear is widely available to put something in place.
So based on a budget of around $2000, could I get a similar setup (number of cameras and similar specs) with gear from another vendor that is available now? What do you recommend for the NVR hardware and software?
