Hello, IT/corporate policy question for all you guru's (and anyone who is willing to give 2cents).
I've recently kiped a copy of an acceptable usage agreement off of spiceworks (can't remember who posted it, but thanks). And I've also made a simple signature page and handed it up to the facility boss.
My question is.. how many companies require employees to sign the acceptable use policy, or sign anything stating they agree to abide by company rules, etc...???
What prompted this was (along with a couple years of minor issues) that we had a couple incidents recently of rather large infractions against current policy (sharing accounts.. etc... not good)
Currently, the ceo is saying i'm over-reacting, but i'm thinking he is under reacting.. which is a rather common theme on a lot of message boards.
