I bought a Dell KVM off of Ebay. The "tested and fully functional" KVM has a password set that the seller doesn't know. This not only means that the unit couldn't have been testes, it also means I can't use it or even reconfigure it through it's serial port without the password. Does anyone know a way to brute force a password over the serial management port with Hyperterminal or some other similar terminal client? It would be nice to keep the unit, but if I can't get the password it is going back.
