This isn't meant to be a soapbox type post so please do not move it or turn it into a party thing. This is about using public email systems that are outside e-discovery.

Not sure how many of you are keeping track of bureaucrats that are using personal email for official government communications but here's another "Aide" who though they wouldn't get caught and decided to use Gmail for their clandestine operations. I guess they forgot to use a pseudo name....

This isn't the first time personal email accounts have been used to communicate. My question is, why hasn't personal email services been banished from government networks? How much information is leaking out by using these systems?
