I received this "Renewal Notice" from a company called National Telecompany, Inc. based out of Pasadena, California.
My AP dept had received it, stamped it for coding and put in my mailbox to get my approval to pay it.
We have no prior relationship with this company and their "notice" says that if we do nothing, that their services will begin billing automatically.
The scary part is, it looks like an invoice. And a larger organization who doesn't have the time to scruitinize things like this might pay it because it says to.
Watch out for this and other similar scams.
PS - When I tried to call the "customer service" number on the notice I got a fax machine!
