I had a supposedly IT person try and tell me that FREE AV's are just as good as the paid ones. One client even said all of a sudden she was getting pop ups. He said oh change your pop up settings that will get rid of it and use this online web client that will log into your computer and get rid of any viruses you have. REALLY, REALLY, really. Who the hell tells people to do that LOL. If you never had pop ups before and all of a sudden you are getting tons of them not your settings LOL. Oh and he was referring to AVG mostly for AV.
