I am looking to implement a secure email solution for a client. They are using Outlook /Exchange in-house and looking to encrypt out-going mail to external senders as part of some new client contracts they have signed.
A big factor here is usability, ie. the recipient doesn't have to install anything on their end as some of them will be less than technical savvy with no IT support to help.
I have tried Zixmail out as I have seen it mentioned a few times but it requires installation on the recipient end to decrypt.
Second factor is cost, there isn't a budget for a costly gateway appliance. I had floated the idea of something like Cisco's ESA C170 but its not in the budget.
Any of you fellow spiceheads got some hands-on experience of a solution to fit the above?
