Secure cloud file sharing?

I'm not sure if this is the best section to post this in, if I'd get a better response elsewhere, let me know and I'll repost there.

As I'm sure most of you do, we block all communications with Dropbox for compliance reasons. However, Dropbox has become so ubiquitous that we're facing a lot of pressure from both the marketing team as well as the executive team to unblock Dropbox. Thus, we have been tasked to find an alternative.

I originally investigated Dropbox for business since that's what it seems the world is so familiar with already. All of the features that I wanted were there, but it seems to me there's a glaring security hole in the whole process. All company managed dropboxes are monitored and can be audited, but there's nothing to stop an employee from creating a personal dropbox and moving files through there, which circumvents all of the "for business" controls.

I've looked into several other solutions, but it seems like they all have the same issue. Great if you use as intended, but they also offer a free plan which is trivial to create and circumvents all controls.

So here's what we need:

-Basic cloud based file sharing

-Accessible from the outside with minimal hassle(i.e outside vendors can easily send files in this way)

-Full audit capabilities that show who's using it, what they're moving, admin rights to allow or block access as needed, and compartmentalizing of data.

Does something like this exist or am I chasing a white whale?
