I have been tasked with replacing our aging Watchguard SSL100 appliance with something new, we are fed up with the Watchguard product and have decided to move to a new company. Currently were looking at a Juniper device. I have investigated Cisco, Barracuda, SonicWall, F5, and Juniper. We are definitely not interested in Watchguard any longer. So far we have determined that a virtualized appliance is definitely not for us and we are looking or a purely hardware based solution. We have discarded Barracuda, and from other comments it looks like SonicWall may have some issues with a non SonicWall firewall (were using and are going to continue to use watchguard for the firewall). What I'm Wondering is what is everyone else using for hardware based SSL VPN? Is SonicWall troublesome without a SonicWall Firewall? Appreciate any feedback I can...
