I have noticed recently that there seems to be a serious increase in the amount of malware coming in off of Droid devices when plugged in through usb for charging and whatnots. I am trying to curb the infections and be as responsible as possible reacting to this situation but I am having a hard time finding a balance between user satisfaction and BYOD limitations. I have bottlenecked the BYOD wifi significantly. I am no longer allowing phone charging on my wyse terminals since I have seen some p2p get through that way. I have disabled local admin abilities for end users so that they cannot install anything at all, even a toolbar. And now I am trying to think of a way to avoid having to ban usb phone charging because obviously there is this infection continuously showing it's face from more than one person.
