A new PR person has just joined the company. She has no idea how to turn a computer on, but insists that to do her job she has to have all of social media open to her. We currently use Websense and of course it blocks a lot of those sites. She reports to the CEO who is a little more computer literate, but does understand network security.
First, what is the best way to handle this? I do not want to open the Internet for her and hope for the best. Second, what is the best way to explain the risks to the CEO so that he can stop it at the top?
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
