Lorrie Faith Craner'spassword dress has beendiscussed beforeon Spiceworks. But I haven't seen her TED talk posted on here (link to YouTube below).
Some of the highlights of the talk for me were:
- People use 'love' and nicknames more than hate stuff
- CS grads have stronger passwords than other majors
- The XKCD style passphrases seem not to be memorable (I don't find this to be true in my experience)
- I think the current password bases system just is broken.
