I have a semi remote location that currently has a manned guard shack. when an 18 wheeler, or standard pick up come up the guard verifies that the vehicle is authorized to enter and will open the motorized gate. We would like to automate the entry and exit of the property. We want to use either RFID or PIN numbers for entry and have video to see the person that is accessing the area then have the gate open based card access and the time of day. Currently there is power at the guard shack but no network connection. We would like to store the video along with access time on a DVR, NVR or an NAS. the distance from the guard shack to an office is about 1 to 2 KM away.
Does anyone know of a good product or combination of products that will allow this type of control?
