Implementing security with linux

It's a real pleasure to be part of this community and would like to continue with the next case.

Currently the corporation for which I work traditionally handled all the safety of navigation, using squid proxy's.

This scheme will not change soon, due to budget factors, the CEO not convinced to invest in a firewall, if everything is handled now with open source tools, which means cost 0.

Putting the context of my situation, the problems, I should fix are:

1 - Update Squid

Squid Currently only uses its rules and filtering lists for now, I want to integrate it with squidGuard (Easy).

problem:

Keep acutales rules for MAC filtering for managers, in the configuration of squid. And configure squid for squidGuard not apply to this group.

I mean, if you belong to this group of MAC, not run the "url_rewrite_program"

2 - Centralize cache.

We currently have 10 proxy servers, one in each unit throughout the country. All units are interconnected private network (MPLS)

I want to install a centralized cache for the company to improve access to most sites.
