I have a customer that wants to be able to get reports on users internet activity on their individual PC's. i.e. they want to see that their employee Jane went to website xyz.com at 9:30am and was there for 10mins, then went to website abc.com at 9:40am and was there for 20 mins. etc. I know I can pull history from the individual PC's but I also know that history can be inaccurate and I don't want to have to pull history for each browser for each PC in the network individually.
I am a sonicwall guy and I know they have some type of service for tracking user activity (that I tried 3 years ago) but I was not impressed with it at all! The configuration was confusing and the reports were unclear and not concise enough. I would like to find something that is easy to implement and gives reports as simple as I stated above for all users in their Active Directory Domain network.
They are coming due for a router replacement soon so if there is a router I should look at getting to do this job, then I would be willing to try that. I would also be willing to install some kind of Monitoring Agent on their individual computers if there is an easy way to collect the information via some cloud monitoring dashboard.
Any suggestions you all have would be very much appreciated.
